Here at Music4Breakfast, we don’t just focus on food – we’re a bit of fashion geeks too 😉 Here’s our top ten music and sneaker collaborations EVER.  Trust us, this one was hard to do!  Read below and share with us your favorites in the comments!

10.  Reebok x S. Carter  Collab

Inspired by the Gucci 84 tennis sneaker – this collaboration was a first for both Jay Z. and Reebok.  Released in 2003, this sneaker landed Hova a multi-year endorsement deal, a signature sneaker line, and a classic sneaker that’s sleek, comfortable and stylish.

9.  Bad Brains x Supreme x Vans Sk8 Hi Top Collection

Classic hi-tops with a reggae flare is the result of collaboration between punk-ska pioneers, Bad Brains, and skateboarding company, Supreme, and of course one of the kings of retro hi-tops, Vans. Available in three very rasta-friendly colors, this collab was a special one indeed!

8.  Air Jordan 2 “Vashtie”

The first by-a-lady, for-a-lady shoe that Air Jordan released, this 2010 exclusive was designed by New York talent, Vashtie Kola.  A beautiful lavender color and versatile style, this sneaker broke records and our hearts.  An urban and alternative take on the popular Air Jordans.

7.  Air Jordan 4 “Encore” x Eminem Collab

One of the most sought after shoes in the sneaker world, the “Encore” Jordan was only released exclusively to family and friends close to Eminem.  With only 50 pairs made, this sneaker is not only rare but as aggressive as the rapper who made them.

6.  ?uestlove x Nike Dunk High Pack

Released in 2011, this genius sneaker collection by drumming expert Questlove is sure to make heads turn.  Sporting a silhouette of Questlove on the tongue, these leather beauties are surely one of the most unique sneakers we’ve ever seen.  Made for some b-ball or everyday wear, this collab is definitely a classic.

5.  Fat Joe TS x Air Jordan 8

Just a few hours old, these one of a kind Jordans were stolen from Fat Joe at the baggage claim a few days ago while in the Vegas Airport.  Whoever has these has the only pair in existence.  As Joe said, “…can’t blame them…” Featuring a gold “TS” on the tongue, Fat Joe silhouette on the front, these truly are a gorgeous pair of shoes!

4.  Wu Tang Clan x Nike Dunk Highs

With only 36 pairs available upon it’s release in 1999, these legendary sneakers were created by equally legendary hip hop group, Wu Tang Clan.  As bold as the group that bears their name, these feature a bright yellow on black finish, and a sleek “Wu Tang” symbol on the back.  These are worth every bit of the $15k they’re going for on eBay!

3.  A$AP ROCKY x Jeremy Scott x Adidas JS Wings 2.0

Taking some notes from the American flag, Jeremy Scott designed a shoe inspired by rapper A$AP ROCKY, called the “Black Flag”.  With black on black stars, stripes and clouds, and actual “wings” coming off the back, this sneaker is not only an attention grabber, but also a quirky addition to any sneaker collection.

2.  Deftones x Nike Dunk Highs

California rock band Deftones partnered up in 2003 with Nike to release the one and only Deftones Hightops.  Rumored to have less than 50 ever made, these fun green on black kicks feauture the signature “Deftones” logo on the back, and carry a price tag of over $1,500!

1.  Kanye West x Nike Air (Original “Yeezy”)

The first collaboration of it’s kind, Nike teamed up with rapper Kanye West in 2009 to make the one of the most iconic sneaker collaborations in sneaker history.  Kanye spent months with designer Mark Smith to create these gems, and upon release, they retailed at $250.  Now they’re worth over $5k for a pair!
