As fate would have it, we have ended up in the beautiful city of New York on of the craziest holiday of the year, Halloween. Of course, being that it’s NYC, it all comes down to one thing – the costume!
Looking back to some of my craziest experiences; Rocky Horror Picture show, grabbing some awesomely huge slices of authentic NYC pizza, and a few drinks throughout the night with every spot we went to, seeing some of the most bizarre, sexy, and outlandish costumes at every street corner.
So, in honor of the great procrastinators, here are some awesome last-minute music related costume ideas DIY for you! Inspired by the awesome costumes I’ve seen and done in the past years!
8. Run DMC
Taking it back to the retro Hip Hop era – RUN DMC is a true classic. And an added bonus – this outfit is relatively easy! All you need is an authentic Adidas tracksuit (or similar), some Adidas shoes, a black shirt, and a fake gold chain. The top hat and sunglasses are optional, but would definitely add to the authenticity of this look!

7. KISS
This outfit’s a bit harder, but will kick major ass if you pull it off right! All you need is a lot of black and white facepaint, a “headbanger” rock wig, a black and silver outfit (do your best on imitating the designs), and leather pants, vests and studded stars are optional, but would be KISS-tastic!

It’s no surprise that Lady GaGa is the queen of random outfit selections, which makes her a great choice for picking out a costume.
