Recent TMZ reports state that former Creed frontman, Scott Stapp, was plotting to assassinate President Obama after breaking out of the mental institution he was in last month. Sources say he is convinced that he is a CIA agent, and ordered to kill Obama. He fleed the hospital shirtless on a bicycle, and when he confronted his wife, Jaclyn Stapp, claiming that she tried to swindle him of $6 million, she retaliated by calling the cops and attempting to have him arrested and put in a psych hold for 90 days!
Jaclyn Stapp is surprisingly calm during her 911 call, and commenters on the breaking news (on TMZ.COM) seem to think that she is the problem – not Scott. Apparently, Scott packed a backpack filled with CIA documents he printed off the internet, and a handful of miscellaneous tools, on a mission to assassinate the president. Scott believes that the IRS is after him and trying to take his money and his pride. In my opinion, it could be worse….he could still be in Creed.
